Router stands

I often preset the depth on my plunge router and make multiple cuts at this depth. In other words I use it like a fixed-base router. This means that the bit remains exposed between cuts and could be damaged (tungsten tips are very brittle). In order to prevent this I use a router stand that protects the cutter between cuts.
